GRAND VALLEY OPEN STUDIO TOUR

OCTOBER 8 - 10

For three special days this autumn, twenty-five Grand Valley

fine artists are extending an exclusive invitation to the public.

They are opening the doors of their private studios. From the

large purpose-built studio, to the small adaptive workspace,

each artist studio is a unique world.

With a variety of tools, lighting, and work space, every studio

allows artistic ideas and inspiration to take life. Each studio is

organized to accommodate individual artists’ own special

processes and techniques. The studio is where the artist

spends hours, months or even years working to create art that

only takes seconds to view!

Map in hand – or phone in hand – you are an explorer. Discover

hidden nooks and amazing views of the Grand Valley. Visit

places you didn’t dream existed, enter private sanctuaries of

artistic creativity, impressive home galleries, and witness

in-progress demonstrations. Expand your knowledge and

appreciation of our valley’s amazingly talented and generous

art community. Take the opportunity to purchase an original

piece of art.

While daily you can see finished artwork gracing the walls of

Grand Valley galleries, businesses and the Western Colorado

Center for the Arts, this unique behind-the-scenes opportunity

only happens once a year!

A Dream Come True - Art & Sound Studio Showroom

October 25, 2019

I’m so excited to announce that I have opened up an Art Studio in Grand Junction. This is something that I have dreamt about for years and relocating back to Colorado made it possible. A place that I could work, teach, display and sell my watercolors. With the help of Bob and my brother and sister-in-law we were able to turn an empty warehouse space into an incredible Studio/Showroom. We have combined my art along with a nice selection of Vintage Stereos that Bob and Frank have been collecting for years. We decorated with a Mid-Century Modern flair that takes some of us back to our youth - growing up in the 70’s.

I really want to thank Bob, Tami and especially Frank for helping to make this dream come true.

Stay tuned for more information on classes for those located in the Grand Valley!
